What are Retouched Glitz and/or Semi Glitz Headshots? A. Retouched Headshots are Photographs that have been enhanced with specific features, i.e. skin smoothing, cosmetics, lashes, hair, imperfections corrected, special lighting, and cropping the shot so that mostly the face shows. Themes are often present and backgrounds removed or amped up. Q. Do I have to be on "The List" to compete? A. No, these are the Preliminaries. Q. How did contestants get on "The List" ? A. They received at least 1 Preliminary Title during Season VI. Q. What are a Proofs? A. A "Proof" is a Professional Headshot "Hardcopy" that has not yet been retouched/edited. Q. What are Digital Portfolios? A. Digital Portfolio's are photographs that have been enhanced with special thematic effects by an Artist. Digital Port's can be taken by both Professional and Amateur Photographers. Q. What are "Stageshots"? A. Stageshots are photographs taken while contestants are performing, LIVE on Stage at a Beauty Pageant, Fitness or Modeling Competition.
